    • Los Terribles de Tijuana (I Belli Di Waikiki’s Mariachi band — their ONLY performance throughout Hukilau!), Haole Kats, other acts TBA.
    • Hukilau merchandise will debut poolside!

 

Friday, October 6

  • 10 am – 5 pm Hukilau Registration – Yankee Clipper Foyer
  • 5:00pm sharp - Mermaid swimming in Clipper pool, Wreck bar
  • 10 am – 6 pm Tiki Bazaar – Yankee Clipper Ballroom A
    • Your first glance at our vendors; official Hukilau merchandise; book signings with Sven Kirsten, author of The Book of Tiki and Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, author of the Grog Log & Intoxtica! Get your cocktail fix at the Clipper’s Wreck Bar – direct access from Ballroom A!
  • 10 am – 6 pm Mai Kai “A Look at the Past” Photo Exhibit
    • Never before seen photos from the Mai-Kai archives, adjacent to the Tiki Bazaar.
  • 3 - 5 pm Live Tiki Carving Exhibit - Yankee Clipper Beachside Deck Area
    • With Basement Kahuna - Free
  • 7 pm - 1 am Friday Night Main Event - Bahia Mar
    • Performances by: I Belli Di Waikiki, APE with Billy Mure, Haole Kats, Intoxicators, Torchy Taboo, Charles Phoenix, Combo Mahalo.

    • A 90-minute interactive Mixology presentation and insight into Donn the Beachcomber, led by Jeff “Beachbum” Berry!
  • 2:30 - 3:30 pm “Tiki Modern & the Wild World of Witco” with Sven Kirsten - Yankee Clipper Ballroom A
    • Slideshow presentation – a look into the Kirsten archives, need we say more?
  • The Mai-Kai’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
    • 3:30 pm Those with 1st Dinner Show reservations depart from Yankee Clipper
